Only At English Chiropractic

Why We're Different

Video Fluoroscopy

In addition to the standard x-ray training, Dr. English has specialized training in a diagnostic procedure called Videofluoroscopy. This is a digitally recorded x-ray of the neck that is taken while in motion and shows the areas that do not move properly.

This allows Dr. English to more accurately evaluate and treat his patients. For the past 18 years Dr. English has been using this procedure for his more difficult cases as well as providing this service for other doctors. The exam is recorded on a DVD and can be shared with clinics.

Dr. English is the only certified and licensed chiropractor in the Santa Barbara County doing this helpful procedure. Videofluoroscopy is not used in all cases, so be sure to ask if you would benefit from having an exam performed.

Dr. Kevin Asks some important questions of interest to Goleta residents - Chiropractor Goleta Dr. Kevin Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
